Wade Fishing
Getting wet is an approach favored by avid Texas Saltwater anglers. We offer wade fishing trips for our guests who prefer to wade fish. There are days when this is a tactical advantage due to wind and weather. Whether using live bait or artificial lures, wade fishing the reefs, shorelines, and back lakes is sure to get you close to the fish.
Seadrift Fly Fishing
Enjoy a feet dry approach to your passion as we pole the endless abounds of the back marsh lakes looking for that fish of a lifetime. From big speckled Trout to Redfish busting the slot; to big water species like Jacks Crevalle, Tarpon, and Tripletail; we look forward to putting you in position to make the cast of a lifetime. We’re running our all new Ankona Shadowcast 18′ microskiff powered by Mercury Marine. Pricing is set in packages for one to two person groupings per boat. Multi-boat trips are available for larger groups.
Flounder Gigging
We call it “walking” others call it “wade gigging”, regardless, gigging is absolutely lethal on foot and an all around best approach especially when water levels in the bay are very low. On low water, Flounder Boats have a tough time getting to the fish, wade giggers don’t. Our guides will be right by your side as they show you how to work hard bottom shorelines in less than knee deep water using our custom LED gigs.
Night Fishing
We have these exciting trips packaged with lodging and meals and you’ll find the “guide to pricing” helpful in putting together a trip. Arrive here at the lodge and enjoy dinner before heading out into the early evening hours as we look for water and fish just before dark for areas of emphasis. The rest is what memories are made of and you’ll return to the lodge for a shower and comfy place to sleep as our guides clean your fish. It doesn’t get much better than that!
