Cast & Blast
Early Teal, Dove, Waterfowl, and Night Vision Hogs
Our most popular hunting trips frequently involve a morning or afternoon of bay fishing for Trout and Redfish. These combination trips offer the best of the Texas Mid-Coast and make for memories of a lifetime. We offer cast and blast combination trips, including a morning duck hunt followed by an action-packed afternoon fishing trip.
Early Teal Through Big Ducks
September finds us in hot wing shooting for early Teal, then hitting the water mid-morning for fishing. On Dove hunts, we always fish the mornings, then come back to the lodge and relax and retool for afternoon hunts. During the regular waterfowl season starting around the first of November, we typically hunt the morning,s then come back to the lodge for a hearty lunch and retool for afternoon fishing adventures.
Night Activities, Night Vision Hog & Flounder Gigging
Night Vision hog hunts are a ton of fun, conducted at night over baited locations with professional blinds or spot and stalk during the September grain season. We shoot the latest generation of Night Vision using AR’s in heavier calibers. We can add night activities like hog hunting, night fishing, or flounder gigging to any trip package.
Alligator Hunting
Welcome to Texas Alligator hunting, Texas Lizards on the Gulf Coast! Coastal Waterfowl has become the destination for September excitement. Texas Alligator hunting is a combination of spot and stalk, baiting, and running lines. We pride ourselves on a 100% success ratio in harvesting these prehistoric creatures.

Mexico Gould’s Turkey Hunting
Tucked away at the far southern end of the Central Flyway lies one of the last true duck hunting frontiers — the Lower Laguna Madre. This vast stretch of shallow saltwater is where thousands of pintails and redheads spend the winter, riding out the season until the long trip north begins again in spring. Rental Gear, Guns & Shells
We have shotguns for rent at the lodge featuring the latest and greatest, including Beretta, Retay & Remington Versa Max and V-12’s along with a host of over/unders. Shotgun shells are available here at the lodge. 12 and a limited number of 20ga. Beretta auto’s are available. We also have an extensive locker of waders and wind and waterproof Sitka jackets for rent. Shotgun shells are also available in 3″.
