Registration & Entry Fees
Redfish Stringer: 3 slot redfish (20”–28”) — $500 entry fee
Optional Side Pots
- Big Slot Redfish (20”–28”): $50 entry fee
- Slot Redfish Spot Pot (20”–28”): $50 entry fee
Opt-In Calcutta
Each boat will have an “opt-in” option on purchasing their boat for $300.

Official Rules
- Tournament Teams will consist of 1-4 people and will not include youth division entrants (16yrs and under) who participate. Only one team per boat and everyone in the boat is a team member.
- Launch – You may launch and fish in any public waters accessible to public fisherman by boat.
- No sharing or pooling of fish with other teams and boats is allowed.
- All anglers must carry a valid Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp. All federal, state and tournament rules will be abided by including a valid fishing license.
- Live, dead or artificial bait is allowed.
- Redfish stringer will consist of 3 slot redfish. No tagged redfish over 28” will be allowed.
- Weigh-master will have final say on eligibility on any fish brought to the scales. No pale, gilled, or mutilated fish will be allowed. Team will be disqualified. A trimmed tail is a mutilated fish. In the event of a tie in weight, the first team to weigh in will be a winner.
- Minimum of one person per team must attend the mandatory captains meeting.
- In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be rescheduled. Decisions on weather to be made by the tournament officials and notifications will be placed by phone calls or email to team captains.
- Teams must be in line with fish at Castaway Lodge by 4pm for weigh-in. You may not carry any extra gas in the boat other than in the factory installed OEM gas tank.
- Weigh-in time is Saturday from 2pm-4pm. At least one team member must present the weighmaster with your weigh-in tag and be standing in line with your fish by 4pm sharp.
- NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be no sorting or culling of fish once your team is in line with fish for weigh-in.
- The official clock will be “cellular phone” time and will be monitored by the weigh-in team.
- Any protest must be filed orally or in writing with the tournament director by the end of the weigh-in.
- Each fish may be entered in one category only.
- Team members must remain within plain eyesight of their partners and boat at all times.
- Teams may not allow another boat to hold their fishing area for any reason.
- Any boat that becomes disabled during the tournament may be towed back to weight-in. Anglers may NOT transfer fish to another boat to be transported to weigh-in.
- Every angler receiving a tournament prize is subject to a polygraph test. Results of the polygraph are final. Any person caught cheating will be disqualified and charges will be pressed.
- If you hook a fish, that fish is yours and yours only to fight, land and weigh-in. You may not pass the rod to your partner to fish and land.
- Teams may not encroach upon any other team wading into already secured fish or drifting, motoring, anchoring and fishing by boat on any other team or recreational angler. Exercise good sportsmanship.
Youth Division
Youth 16 years old and under can enter 1 slot redfish caught themselves into the youth division. All youth must fish with a parent or legal guardian.
Fish caught by a youth fisherman will not be allowed to count towards their teams catch. All youth must abide by the same rules as adult division.

Polygraphs: By signature on the official tournament entry form, each contestant agrees to submit to a polygraph test and abide by its conclusion. A mandatory polygraph test will be administered to one member of the winning team selected by the tournament directors, no money will be paid out until the polygraph test is completed and passed. The results of the polygraph are final and cannot be reviewed by a court of law or appealed to tournament officials.
