Castaway Lodge Seadrift Report

Wind and water conditions have opened up broader mid-bay shell venues offering options for Trout and mixed Redfish action. Heavy boxes and full limits of Redfish topped with solid Trout numbers to 20″ have been meshing nicely with a heavy schedule at the lodge. The Capt’s of Castaway Lodge are reporting strong fishing and a broadening range of options heading into late July.
On the horizon is more great fishing; Alligator season is right around the corner encompassing all the great combinations that surround it including early Teal NEW 6 bird limit; and, Dove Hunting. September is a great month to take it all in, come see us when you get a chance!
Saying Goodbye
Wendi and I are wrapping up our last couple of days here on Maui and look forward to returning to the lodge and plenty of more fun in the sun. We’ve had a great time in the Aloha State, the stunning beauty and hospitality certainly far surpassed our expectations.
