Trout turned tough on lures as Capt. James Eastep reported scouting with guests ahead of the annual Poco Bueno tournament but Redfish topping the slot looked interesting for participants. Bait fishing continues to perform with wading taking heavy stringers of Trout and boat fishing bouncing up and down depending on conditions, wind, weather, and water.
Capt. Chris Cady reported tough sledding on the island by airboat this morning and made a sizeable real estate shift to get into something more interesting.
Alligator Season
The Texas Wild Alligator Season for 2015 kicks off on September 10th and runs through the 30th. We’ve got openings if anyone’s interested in some big lizards.
