Man the weather has just been terrific here lately making for some great days on the water. Black Drum have been ruling the day for many intercepting them while looking for either Trout or Redfish. Both Trout and Redfish have gotten very spotty and totally about timing with the exception of the back lakes by airboat. We’ve still got a ton of bait piled up in the upper bays and we continue to be buried in water with elevated tides. Fresh water inflows remain a focus in the upper bays and bode well for the near term.
We are seeing some ducks show up and we are getting things ready for the opener. In the meantime, check out our feature article in the upcoming issue of Airboating Magazine due out November HERE. Come see us when you get a chance!
