Brackish Backwater Beatdown – “Triple B”
**Fishing Report – Wading Artificial Prime Time**
Capt. Trey Ross reported fast action wade fishing artificial’s this morning with his pops as we get a little break here around Thanksgiving. Our guides working the flats have been taking solid Redfish limits on boat fishing trips with the action heating up closer to noon. Airboat trips also taking names with some bruising fish bending the boards.
**Duck Hunting**
Capt. James Cunningham and Capt. Braden Proctor hitting them hard the last couple of days taking limits of Gadwall, Pintail, and a few Teal and Shoves. Weather has flattened out on the mild side and that’s had it’s challenges. We should be looking at stable and mild through the close unless a surprise cold front lurches into the area. As of now, not much to crow about weather wise out into December. We’ve got dates available from 12/2 through the 13th for fishing.
**Castaway Youth Charities – Castaway Classic Tournament News**
Our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch event for the local kiddo’s was a big hit and we raised $3,000 for this years beneficiary, The Lakeside 4 H. In just over a year in existence, Castaway Youth Charities a State and IRS designated 501(C)3 non-profit has raised $8,500 for local youth initiatives.
Our 2nd Annual Castaway Classic Fishing Tournament and BBQ Cookoff will be held on February 7th/8th of 2020. Last years field included 22 top teams competing for around $25,000 in prize money. Get your team together and come out for a great event supporting the kids. Four man teams, of which, one youth can compete in their own division for big Redfish.
We’ve got lots and lots of great fishing ahead of us. So if you’re planning a trip, get started by giving us a call!
