With a warmer than expected Winter, the fishing calendar will be taking off strong in February. From friends and family trips; to bachelor parties; corporate appreciation and team building; it’s going to be a lot of fun. Again this year, we’ll be emphasizing wade fishing for those one of a kind encounters with monster speckled Trout and Redfish. When it comes to boat fishing and corporate entertainment, we’ll be adding a Shadow Cast micro-skiff to the line-up for some unique fly fishing opportunities in the back marshes.
Airboat fishing will take prime time as we shift gears immediately after duck season closes on 1/27. These trips are a lot of fun and of course many of you already know that! If not, check it out. Slot Black Drum and Redfish congregate together in school after school over the warmer mud bottoms of the back lakes during this time and it is a rod bending bonanza!
In the mean time, strap on the waders and let’s get wet for some Monster Trout encounters of the “Corky Bite” variety. Topwaters won’t be far behind and Capt. Chris Cady will be on point for many of these trophy excursions with* Capt. Braden Proctor, Capt. Kolten Braun, and *Capt. Trey Ross hot on his heels.
Night Activities
There are no better add-ons to any trip than our guided Night Vision Hog Hunts or Flounder Gigging. These trips are a lot of fun for anyone really wanting to play hard.
Kayak Pack Trips – Overnight Adventures
We added a whole new dimension to our line-up late last year for the folks looking for unlimited relaxation, fishing, and wilderness immersion. Check out all of our great pack trips at Texas Kayak Safari
We’ve got lots and lots of great fishing ahead of us. So if you’re planning a trip, get started HERE.
