Wild Texas Alligator Hunting Ahead!
Texas largest Wild Alligator outfitter is located in the heart of gator country in Seadrift, Texas. Since the season became legal in the late 1980’s, we have been perfecting our approach to the harvest of Wild Texas Alligators covering hundreds of miles of waterfront property in nearly 5 counties. Our harvest ratio has hovered at or near 100% for years, some tougher than others considering droughts and flooding.
**Fishing Report**
It was big time here at the lodge over the 4th of July Holiday and we enjoyed visiting with guests from all over the State. From boat to wade fishing, guests found some fast action working shorelines wade fishing while boat fishing was a tad slower on higher winds. Redfish action on the airboats has picked up a bit from past weeks with Capt. Chris Cady reporting solid numbers with guests of Jimmy S. on Wednesday. Redfish concentrations have a ways to go yet before we’d call them “schooled up” but we look for it starting later this month!
Since things have been on the breezy side, we haven’t made any runs to the surf lately and we believe the best of that action is still ahead of us this month. Peeling back the dirty water and pulling some green to the beach surf will surely put an exclamation mark on the fishing so far this year.
**Alligator Season**
The season start September 10th thru the 30th and we’ve got the best properties and plenty of tags still left at this time. The schedule is pretty tight thought with a lot of fishing so we’re really going to have to drill down on dates this time. Let’s get those trips on the move as soon as possible.
**Eyeing Duck Season**
November and December are the months for in State waterfowlers to catch the best on Cast & Blast trips. Check out our **[Photo Gallery](https://www..flickr.com/photos/64072859@N02/)**
